2019 Fall Season Wrap-Up


The soccer team completed this season with a record of 2-11. The Cyclones a shutout this season against Cal Maritime. Both wins this season happened back to back against Cal Maritime in October.

The Cyclones went to ACAA conference tournament for the first time since the 2017 season, where they were seeded third overall. In the semifinal round they competed against number 2 Finlandia University and lost in the last minutes of the game when the Lions were able to sneak a goal in on a corner kick. Three Cyclones were named to the All-ACAA Tournament Team: sophomores Zoe McKenzie and Anais Uriarte, and junior Alondra Rios.

  • Saves/Game: 9.23; ranked 26th within NCAA DII
  • Ranked 4/11 goalkeepers in ACAA conference for total season saves

The volleyball team completed this season with a record of 2-16. The two victories came against West Coast Baptist, once at Mills and the other at West Coast Baptist.

The Cyclones were a young team this year with only two upperclassmen leading an all first year team. With the wins coming too late in the season, the Cyclones were unable to qualify for the ACAA conference tournament.

First year libero, Ashley Noble was named to the First Team All-Conference for her outstanding defensive performance throughout the season. She led the conference in digs/set: 5.04.

Cross Country

This season the Cross Country team ran in 8 meets this season, including the ACAA conference race and the NCAA West Regional race. Each runner this season had at least one PR and multiple runners made it onto the Top 10 All-Time lists in both the 5k and 6k.

The Cyclones hosted the ACAA championship conference meet at Mills College, this is the first time in school history that the Cyclones have hosted a NCAA conference championship. Seniors Laura Schultz and Karena Huang were named to Second Team All-Conference for their performances at the conference championship.

Cross Country Fall Photo Gallery


The Cyclones competed in four meets this fall season. The team this year is made up of 7 new swimmers and 3 returners. They kicked off their season at Cal State East Bay  followed by a double dual at Santa Cruz then on the same day as the Cross Country ACAA Championship, they hosted five schools for the annual Bay Area Invitational. The Cyclones traveled up to Oregon for their final fall meet, the Bruin Invite, hosted by George Fox University.

The swim team will continue practicing over the winter season and will compete in the spring semester with the Liberal Arts Championships happening in late February.

Competing in their off season, the Cyclones headed to the East Coast for a double header versus Gordon College and Salve Regina. They then headed south to Santa Cruz for a two day tournament hosted by the Banana Slugs. 

The team will continue their competitions in their official season in the spring season.

Tennis Fall Photo Gallery


The Cyclones competed in two regattas this fall season, the Head of Port and the Head of the American. 

Each fall the team competes in the Colors Regatta which is an inter-team competition consisting of four teams that are made up by the rowers. Each boat competes in multiple races making sure that each member of the team competes in at least one race.

They will continue their season of competition in the fall with the WIRA championship and Northwest Conference championship in April.
